The Google Alphapet

Today, I noticed that if I type only one letter in Google using the dynamic search result. It will return the most popular or relevant website that starts with that letter. So, here is the Alphabet by Google.

Amazon
Bank of America
Craigslist
Dictionary
eBay
Facebook
Gmail <– duh!
Hotmail
Ikea
Jon Stewart – The Daily Show actually
Kennedy Center
Lowes
MapQuest
Netflix
Orbitz
Pandora
Quotes @ BrainyQuote
Rally to Restore Sanity – lol Jon Stewart again!
Southwest Airlines
Target
USPS – w00t Team Goverment… or not?
Verizon
Weather.com – not sure why it told me the weather from Arlington since I don’t live there. I was expecting Walmart.
XBox
Yahoo
Zappos … a shoe store.. Of course!

  1. I just tried that and some of mine are different. A few are local links so Google can tell where you are, I guess. Kind of disturbing. For example, my “J” suggests “Jackson County Jail”. Many of them are the same as yours though. My “Y” is youtube.
